GYROTONIC®

GYROTONIC® Starter

Using GYROTONIC® methods and principles, this class is a foundation class that teaches you the basics of a GYROTONIC® class. Over time, you will gain a deeper awareness of how your body moves and how to align your body to move better. This workout uses the GYROTONIC® Expansion System to build strong and lean muscles, using a variety of exercises that will challenge your agility, flexibility and coordination.

This is a beginner class.

You do not require any experience before starting although you might want to consider doing a trial private session first for a 1-on-1 introduction to the GYROTONIC® methods and principles.

GYROTONIC® Restoration (Gyrotonic 1)

A much needed lengthening, decompressing, mobilising and strengthening of the body – after a long day at the desk or chasing after little ones! With its unique three-dimensional spiralling and circular movement flow based on the body’s natural movement patterns, the GYROTONIC® Method has been described as the most satisfying self-massage and an antidote to ‘tech neck’ and the many stressors of modern life. Dedicate this hour to your mind, body and soul – you deserve it.

This is an upper beginner class.
Suitable for clients who have taken at least 8 beginner classes.

GYROTONIC® Flow (Gyrotonic 2)

Build long, lean muscles, challenge your coordination and increase your flexibility all at once… in our Gyrotonic Flow class! Through the GYROTONIC® methods and principles, gain a deeper awareness of how your body moves and how to align your body to move better. This workout uses the GYROTONIC® Expansion System to build strong, lean muscles, using a variety of exercises that will challenge your agility, flexibility and coordination.

This is an intermediate class.
Suitable for clients who have taken at least 8 upper beginner classes.

Reformer Starter

New to Pilates? Kickstart your Pilates journey by joining our introductory Reformer Starter class! Learn the basics of Reformer Pilates – how to move on Pilates’ most popular and well-known piece of equipment in a safe and proper manner guided by our expert instructors. Build a solid foundation for movement based on fundamental Pilates principles and exercises.

This is a beginner class.

Length & Strength Reformer (Reformer 1)

Get ready to stand taller, feel more confident and move with greater ease and range of motion! Time to tackle tech neck, stiff shoulders, and other aches and pains induced by modern life — with exercises designed to strengthen the back, mobilise and elongate the spine and improve overall postural alignment. Walk out of every class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!

This is an upper beginner class.
Suitable for clients who have taken at least 8 beginner classes.

Reformer Core & More (Reformer 1)

Challenge your core – and your whole body – with fun, effective exercises based on fundamental Pilates principles! You will learn how to activate and strengthen the deep core muscles that support the spine, all while sculpting the more superficial abdominal muscles through progressive exercises on the Reformer. Improve your core strength, overall mobility, daily function and prevent injuries under the expert guidance of our passionate, experienced instructors! 

This is an upper beginner class.

Reformer Jump (Reformer 1)

Say hello to cardio in this class that’s centred all around one of our favourite props – the Reformer jumpboard. Elevate your heart rate with a playful, energetic and challenging class which will have you jumping on your back, side and even all fours! The beauty of this high-intensity workout is that it’s also low-impact – gentle on the joints while challenging coordination, strengthening core, and of course improving your cardiovascular endurance! Feel the most burn and get the most benefits for a total body sculpting session – happy jumping!

Reformer Align (Reformer 1)

Increase your proprioception, balance your muscle development and refine your form as you move your body in all planes and mobilise your spine in all directions on the Reformer. Discover how alignment and precision in each exercise can engage the right muscles, all while amplifying the toning, strengthening and mobilising effects! You’ll appreciate the growing body awareness with each session and enjoy the sensation of being centred.

This is an upper beginner class.

Full Body Reform (Reformer 2)

Transform your strength, stability, flexibility, mobility – and more! – from head to toe in this invigorating intermediate Reformer class. Stretch your limits, challenge your balance and reconnect to your core with the help of a variety of Pilates props, along with creative variations and progressions of the Pilates exercises you know and love.

This is an intermediate class.

This class will give you that energetic glow through a Pilates flow! You’ll be all ready to take on the day after flowing through creative, challenging exercises on the Reformer combined with other props for additional variety. Get your blood circulating with a low-impact, full-body workout that encourages a strong mind-body connection, all while having a great time!

Crank your Pilates routine sky high with our East Coast Studio exclusive Reformer Challenge! Get set to sweat as our passionate, highly-experienced instructors come up with variations and progressions of Reformer moves that are equal parts playful, mindful and muscle-shaking – all to challenge your strength, coordination and control!

This is an advanced class.
Suitable for clients who have taken at least 8 intermediate classes.

Prenatal Reformer

This Pilates class is for expecting mummies! Strengthen the important muscles to get through your pregnancy and labour smoothly, and cope with bodily and weight changes during pregnancy.

Pilates for Backcare

Back feeling a little tight, stiff or achy? This class is for you. Pilates For Back Care is a focused fusion class that combines the best of the Reformer, Mat and other props to reduce tension and stress while working on your balance, stability and strength. Train the body as a whole with functional, back-friendly exercises that aim to improve stability in the lower back, strengthen your core, and increase mobility in the cervical and thoracic spine, so you leave each class feeling stronger, longer and looser from head to toe.

This is a multi-level class. Suitable for all levels.

This is a beginner level class using GYROTONIC® methods and principles, that allows you to gain a deeper awareness of how your body moves and how to align your body to move better. This workout uses the GYROTONIC® Expansion System to build strong, lean muscles, using a variety of exercises that will challenge your agility, flexibility and coordination.

You are highly recommended to complete at least 8 GYROTONIC® 1 classes before progressing to GYROTONIC® 2 class.

GYROTONIC® 2

This is an intermediate level class using GYROTONIC® methods and principles,  that allows you to gain a deeper awareness of how your body moves and how to align your body to move better. This workout uses the GYROTONIC® Expansion System to build strong, lean muscles, using a variety of exercises that will challenge your agility, flexibility and coordination.
