Valerie has a passion for fitness, she enjoys trying out various sporting activities from Yoga to Cross Fit. After attending her first Pilates class in 1998, she discovered that Pilates is gentle but challenging at the same time. It helped her be more aware of her posture, alignment and form.

This inspired her to take the Teachers Training course. Valerie wanted to impart effective movement skills to her clients and help them change the way they move in daily life.

Valerie decided to pursue her passion and is now a Pilates instructor with The Moving Body. She believes the elixir to youth is by keeping oneself strong with the integration of mind, body and spirit to create a life of balance.

Yue Tong began dancing and performing at an early age. She started training at Singapore Ballet Academy and subsequently went on to further her studies in contemporary dance. She believes that Pilates is suitable for everyone – from simple stretching and strengthening of the core to others that require a more athletic challenge and approach. Practicing Pilates has allowed her a deeper understanding and awareness of the body. As an athlete herself, Yue Tong understands the needs of the physical body and looks forward to help others move, train and perform more efficiently. Yue Tong turns to GYROKINESIS® when she needs to mobilise and reduce tension to her spine. It has helped to improve her posture, she feels that GYROKINESIS® not only relates to dancers but to non-dancers as well. She is certified in GYROKINESIS® Level 1 and is also trained in Pilates. Yue Tong hopes to share her experience with these movement methods to benefit others.
    As a fitness enthusiast since young, Ann Ho was exposed to the Pilates exercise in 2003. Amazed by how it connects the mind and body plus her interests in human biomechanics, she became an an instructor in order to spread the true benefits of Pilates to others. Ann spent 2 years doing full time training and understudying as apprentice, until she finally got her professional qualifications as a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Certified Pilates Teacher in 2008. She derives satisfaction from seeing her clients having more ease in movement and improved postures as it equates to higher quality of life since they could stay mobile and independent for long. The quote she always likes to share is “The ranges of motion that you use are the ranges of motion that you get to use in the future”.
      Being a certified group exercise instructor and personal trainer, Chris has been spreading his passion for fitness and health over the past 10 years. His belief for fitness is three-fold: cardiovascular endurance and speed, overall body strength, flexibility and agility. Outside of the gym & studio environment, he has completed many triathlon races, marathons, and trail running races, both locally and overseas. Chris enjoys teaching classes and imparting his knowledge on fitness & health. It brings him joy to find out that his participants are enjoying themselves keeping fit and especially when they achieve their goals.
