Hwee Kheng has been actively involved in movement most of her life. She started Pilates over 10 years ago to help with her lower back pain. Her regular practice in Pilates, as well as the GYROTONIC® method, together with all her other training, not only helped strengthen her core and back, it also helped her move mindfully which is important to minimize injuries and effectively recover from one. She is grateful that she can continue to do many things she enjoyed and to try new experiences and challenges (including aerial arts) that she probably would have difficulties with when she was younger!

This philosophy and approach carries over to her work as an instructor – she enjoys working with and coaching clients to move more mindfully and effectively, so that in turn they can be better in dealing with their life challenges. She had experiences working with clients with shoulders, back, and knee issues to help them strengthen and improve from pain.

Claire first discovered Pilates 13 years ago after having her first child. Loving the feeling of balance, strength and energy that Pilates offered, Claire decided to follow her passion and become an Instructor. Fully certified in Pilates Mat and Studio, Claire taught in Sydney for over 5 years, before relocating to Singapore. Having a genuine love for Pilates, particularly in the origins of the method, Claire is constantly learning, trying to increase her knowledge to help her clients work deeper and grow stronger. In order to achieve this, she takes regular workshops and lessons, both here in Singapore and overseas. Claire is interested to help people of all ages and abilities to discover the beauty, simplicity and strength that Pilates can offer. Alongside Pilates, Claire has a passion for running, in particular long distance events.
    Olga discovered Pilates in 2012 while living in Shanghai. Her previous career involved sitting in the office for long periods of time, which caused problems with her posture resulting in neck and back pain. Her chiropractor recommended her to try some Pilates sessions which she instantaneously fell in love with.Pilates appealed to Olga as it teaches the way our body moves and functions. It can be gentle but also challenging at times. And the best thing about Pilates is that is effective for people with different fitness levels. Recognising the benefits of Pilates, Olga decided to pursue a certification in Pilates and has completed the Balanced Body Mat Certification. She believes Pilates not only helps to improve your posture and strengthen the body, but also gives you more energy and a sense of general well-being.       Karina had been teaching Pilates in Bandung for five years before she moved to Singapore. Teaching Pilates in Singapore was initially challenging for her due to language and cultural differences. But Karina was determined to improve her teaching skills in order to help clients.Karina believes that learning is a continuous journey. She is constantly upgrading her knowledge to understand how the body can move better. In addition to Pilates, Karina is also a GYROTONIC® certified instructor. She has worked with clients of various fitness levels, injuries and medical conditions and feels happy when she sees them improve with every session. With ten years of teaching experience, Karina has a patient, caring attitude and an attention to detail. Most, if not all of her clients feel at ease and confident working with her. Karina also volunteers at ABLE teaching the physically challenged with Pilates rehabilitation techniques. She loves to help people achieve freedom through movement. Despite her busy schedule, Karina maintains a healthy lifestyle by running regularly and has participated in races such as the Standard Chartered and Sundown Half Marathon.
