Yue Tong began dancing and performing at an early age. She started training at Singapore Ballet Academy and subsequently went on to further her studies in contemporary dance.

She believes that Pilates is suitable for everyone – from simple stretching and strengthening of the core to others that require a more athletic challenge and approach. Practicing Pilates has allowed her a deeper understanding and awareness of the body. As an athlete herself, Yue Tong understands the needs of the physical body and looks forward to help others move, train and perform more efficiently.

Yue Tong turns to GYROKINESIS® when she needs to mobilise and reduce tension to her spine. It has helped to improve her posture, she feels that GYROKINESIS® not only relates to dancers but to non-dancers as well.

She is certified in GYROKINESIS® Level 1 and is also trained in Pilates.

Yue Tong hopes to share her experience with these movement methods to benefit others.

Passionate about helping her clients feel energised and confident, Gabby will make sure that you leave class with a smile on your face! Introduced to pilates back in college, she loved how pilates was a great way to heal, a moving meditation, and a great workout. Through regular sessions, she improved her physical strength, gained more flexibility and was even able to achieve her goal of running a full marathon. She's also a new mother to a young baby and she credits pilates for her pain-free pregnancy and smooth labour. Fun-fact: Bookstores are my happy place!
    Hwee Kheng has been actively involved in movement most of her life. She started Pilates over 10 years ago to help with her lower back pain. Her regular practice in Pilates, as well as the GYROTONIC® method, together with all her other training, not only helped strengthen her core and back, it also helped her move mindfully which is important to minimize injuries and effectively recover from one. She is grateful that she can continue to do many things she enjoyed and to try new experiences and challenges (including aerial arts) that she probably would have difficulties with when she was younger! This philosophy and approach carries over to her work as an instructor – she enjoys working with and coaching clients to move more mindfully and effectively, so that in turn they can be better in dealing with their life challenges. She had experiences working with clients with shoulders, back, and knee issues to help them strengthen and improve from pain.
      Celine has always had a keen interest in fitness and movement starting with teaching Group Exercise classes during her university days. Her first experience with Pilates was in 2004 and she has been a convert ever since! Celine started her career as a lawyer and continued to practice while teaching Pilates. Shortly after she had her first child in 2011, it was a natural progression to retire from the corporate world and focus on teaching. Celine has not looked back since. Celine has been teaching with The Moving Body since 2011 and she recently took a short hiatus when she moved to Hong Kong from 2018-2020 where she also taught a little Pilates there. She is now back in Singapore, and is teaching at the East Coast studio. Having had 3 kids herself, Celine has a particular interest in working with prenatal and postnatal clients and believes in the benefits and rehabilitation that Pilates brings in this area. She has also pursued further education in this respect and hopes to do more. Celine also loves teaching group classes and enjoys the energy and flow from the classes. She hopes to make each class challenging yet fun and enjoyable. The strength and flow that comes from a regular Pilates practice has continued to inspire Celine over the past 10 years and she hopes to similarly inspire and convince her clients of the benefits of Pilates and regular movement! Out of the Pilates studio, you will also find Celine dabbling in some boxing and strength training which she believes is a great complement to Pilates!
