Kimberly started to enjoy movement when
she became more active under her brother's influence in her tertiary days. Her
passion for Pilates was sparked from her interest in running and sports
conditioning – learning from various sources on improving running techniques
and proper nutrition to build up and recovery for events. She has since
completed 3 full marathons, and a series of other races. She constantly seeks
to challenge herself and sets herself yearly fitness goals to achieve, the
latest being to work towards completing a sprint category triathlon.
Having first-hand experience with the
benefits of Pilates as well as a deeper calling to reach out to people,
Kimberly hopes to make use of her knowledge to help people achieve their
fitness goals. Through her journey of exploration and nature to constantly
expose herself to different teaching methods, Kimberly taps onto the passion of
teachers she has come across for inspiration. She loves the fact that the body
is an intriguing matter which has new things to learn about each day.
Kimberly strongly believes that living
a full life stems from having the ability to move and gain energy in movements.
Pilates has helped her develop mind-body awareness keeping her injury-free and has
given her strength to cruise through the busyness of life. She hopes to inspire
others to take charge of their health – even bite-sized goals go a long way!
