Gary has an active lifestyle and enjoys kayaking,
dragon boating, rock climbing and running. Through personal experience of
injuries sustained from these sports, Gary is adamant that one has to move
correctly in order to avoid injuries. Locations
He strongly advocates having good strength,
flexibility and mobility to enjoy life’s daily activities. Gary is always keen
to share his experience on how Pilates will help improve overall strength and mobility
of the body. He finds great joy when he sees their body enhanced through
The phase, “Never stop learning to improve” has stayed with Gary
since he took up Pilates. He believes that through Pilates, one can understand
how our body can be strengthened through effective movement.
Besides Pilates, Gary is also Sports Massage trained. He was
forced to seek treatments due to joints and muscles ache from the sporting
lifestyle he had. When he recovered, his beliefs in complementary therapy grew
stronger. Hence, the decision to pursue a Sports Massage diploma to complement his
Pilates teaching. Thus far, Gary has helped some of his clients recover from
their pains and aches sustained from their active lifestyle and it has
certainly encouraged him to continue helping others to achieve the same.
Gary aims to help his clients regain a pain free body to enjoy the
daily activities in life.
