from Chile, Francisca studied in Paris, where she graduated with a Gold Medal
in Contemporary Dance from the Conservatory of Dance and Music D'Issy Les
Moulineaux. Later she moved to NYC to continue her studies, and lived there for
13 years. In NYC she continued her Dance studies, studied Klein Technique, GYROTONIC®, and Zero Balancing. She danced for various independent
companies, and since 2006 has been doing her own works.
been teaching GYROTONIC® since 2002, with Master Trainers
Miriam Barbosa, Juergen Bamberger, and Debra Rose. Francisca brings to her GYROTONIC® practice knowledge from Klein Technique and Dance,
making her teaching style distinctive, where the flow of movement and quality
of movement are very important, as well as breath. She loves teaching people
how to be in touch with their bodies, improve their posture, and enhance their
sense of well-being.
Balancing is something Francisca has been studying since 2006, and is bodywork
that she fully enjoys giving. By touching the bone tissue, and applying gentle
traction at the joints, Zero Balancing truly releases tensions that one might
even not be aware of. The result is a
more aligned body, allowing gravity to fall easily through it, making movement
efficient and effortless.
has been with The Moving Body Group since 2012, loves living in Singapore, and continues to
choreograph and dance.
