started her career as a physiotherapist in 2002 with the aim of improving the
quality of life of adults and children with neurological issues, such as stroke
and cerebral palsy. She soon realized that caregivers need equal amounts of
attention; and thus her interest in issues of the spine, sacroiliac joints and
the knees and shoulders. Her masters in health sciences (with a specialisation
in paediatrics) a couple of years later gave her a more holistic view of the
neuromuscular and musculoskeletal system of adults and children.

She sees the body as a chain of interconnected muscles and joints; where
a dysfunction at one end is bound to affect the other end. For her, efficiency
in movement is the key to a healthy and fit life. Together with her concept of a preventive physiotherapy, Aparna aims to
return her patients to a comfortable life as soon as possible.
